She was a recipient of a Dana Internship award to continue research during the summer of 2012 and has presented at two Whalen Academic Symposiums at Ithaca College as well as at the New Jersey Music Educators Association Conference of 2013 and 2014. St. Denis's first article, "The Savant Syndrome: A review of the literature for the music educator," was published in 2015 with the academic journal Update: Applications of Research in Music Education. St. Denis maintains active membership in the National Association for Music Education and is a certified New York State School Music Association Woodwind Adjudicator for NYSSMA Solo & Ensemble Festivals.
